Trial Sessions
Assessment Trials are held on the following:
Sunday 16.30 - 17.30 Gloucester Park Pool, Basildon
Monday 18.30 - 19.30 Gloucester Park Pool, Basildon (Main Club Night)
Friday 18.30 - 19.15 Wickford Pool, Market Rd, Wickford
Try to turn up in good time and make yourself known to the poolside staff so we can get all formalities underway.
Equipment you will need poolside:
Preferably tight fitting swimming costume/trunks.
Goggles.
Swimming hat (particularly if you have long hair).
Don't worry if you initially don't have these as we have a well-equipped swim shop that can always help you out.
What to expect:
We are aware that children can be nervous, especially during our main Monday Cub Night, when it may be busier or louder than normal so this will be taken into account.
There's no pressure. We will assess each swimmers confidence, stroke technique and skill level and place them in a suitable group for the remainder of the lesson.
We don't expect miracles but we welcome enthusiasm & good behaviour.
After the lesson we can discuss our analysis, recommendations and your options.
