Basildon & Phoenix is a competitive swimming club training at Basildon Sporting Village's 50m pool. We formed in 2011 when Basildon SC and Phoenix SC merged, carrying on more than sixty years of club swimming in the town, and we're affiliated to Swim England East Region and Essex County ASA.
- A clear pathway — from Academy hat groups for swimmers coming out of lessons, up through our competitive squads to Performance.
- Qualified coaches — Swim England qualified, DBS-checked and safeguarding trained.
- Racing at every level — club championships, Essex League rounds and licensed open meets, from a first gala up to regional and national competition.
- Masters — a squad for adult swimmers, whether you're swimming for fitness or to compete.
- A friendly club to be part of — with training and support for anyone who'd like to get into teaching, coaching or officiating.
There are three routes into the club. Pick the one that fits and our membership team will get back to you about next steps.
All enquiries go straight to our membership team at info@phoenixbasildonsc.org. In this draft, they land in the Membership team's inbox in the members' area instead — try it, then log in as Membership to see it arrive.
